Cancellation & Refund Policy
This Cancellation and Refund Policy governs all bookings made with Tringo Car Rental Services. By placing a booking and completing payment on our website, the customer acknowledges and agrees to be bound by this policy in its entirety.
Once a booking is confirmed and payment has been successfully completed, the booking is considered final and binding. No cancellations are permitted after booking confirmation. Requests for cancellation due to personal reasons, change of travel plans, delays, non-usage of the vehicle, or any other customer-related circumstances shall not be accepted under any condition.
All rental charges paid at the time of booking are strictly non-refundable. This includes the base rental amount, any applicable service charges, convenience fees, or taxes. GST charged on the rental amount is non-refundable once the booking is confirmed. No refunds shall be issued for early vehicle return, partial usage of the booking duration, or unused rental days.
A refundable security deposit is collected separately at the time of booking. The security deposit is not a rental charge and is collected solely to cover potential damages, traffic violations, late returns, or other applicable penalties. Refund of the security deposit is processed only after vehicle return and inspection, provided there are no damages, traffic challans, late return charges, or additional penalties applicable to the booking.
Due to delays in traffic challan updates from RTO systems, the security deposit may be held for a period of 15 to 30 days from the booking end date. If any challan or violation is identified during this period, the applicable amount shall be deducted from the security deposit, and the remaining balance, if any, shall be refunded to the customer. If no challans or penalties are detected, the full eligible deposit amount shall be refunded.
In the event that a customer fails to report for vehicle pickup at the scheduled date and time, the booking shall be treated as a No-Show. In such cases, no portion of the rental amount shall be refunded. Security deposit handling, if applicable, shall follow standard inspection, challan verification, and refund timelines as defined in this policy.
Any change in destination, state of travel, or usage beyond the originally declared booking details may result in revised charges as outlined in the Terms and Conditions. Such changes do not qualify the booking for cancellation or refund.
By completing the booking and making payment, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Cancellation and Refund Policy. All policies stated herein are final, binding, and enforceable, and Tringo Car Rental Services reserves the right to amend this policy at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the services after policy updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
