These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by Tringo Car Rental Services. By accessing the website, placing a booking, or using any rental services offered by Tringo Car Rental Services, the customer agrees to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. If the customer does not agree with any part of these terms, they must refrain from using the services.
All vehicle bookings are calculated on a 24-hour rental cycle, starting from 11:00 PM to 11:00 PM the following day. A one-hour grace period is permitted at the end of the booking period. If the vehicle is returned beyond the grace period, an additional full-day rental charge will be applicable.
For identity verification and legal compliance, customers must provide valid and original documents at the time of vehicle pickup. Mandatory documents include a valid Driving Licence, Aadhaar Card, and a current-month Electricity Bill or other government-authorised address proof. Failure to present valid documents may result in the denial of vehicle handover, and no refund shall be issued in such cases.
Before commencing the journey, the customer is responsible for conducting a thorough inspection of the vehicle. This includes checking documents, scratches, dents, damages, lights, indicators, windows, horn, brakes, gears, clutch, air conditioning, tyres, coolant, and engine oil. The customer must capture clear photos or videos of the vehicle’s condition and share them with the company at the time of pickup. These records will serve as reference evidence at the time of vehicle return.
The company provides warranty coverage only for mechanical components and systems, excluding tyres. The customer is required to inspect tyre condition prior to starting the trip. Any puncture, flat tyre, or tyre-related failure occurring during the rental period shall be the sole responsibility of the customer.
In the event of a mechanical issue during the rental period, the customer must inform the company immediately. The company will assess the issue and provide an estimated repair cost. The customer may be required to make payment at the repair facility. Reimbursement of approved repair expenses will be processed within seven days after inspection, provided the charges are reasonable and supported by valid bills. No reimbursement will be provided in cases of overcharging, misuse, or unauthorised repairs.
Service and roadside support provided by Tringo Car Rental Services are limited to the Mumbai region only. If the vehicle encounters issues outside Mumbai, the customer shall be responsible for arranging assistance independently.
Any mechanical, physical, or cosmetic damage to the vehicle caused during the rental period, whether by the customer, co-travellers, or third parties, shall be chargeable to the customer. In cases of major damage, final liability and charges shall be determined based on insurance coverage, inspection reports, and applicable deductibles. The final settlement shall be binding on the customer.
If the vehicle is required to remain stationary at a garage for repairs, stationary charges shall apply for each day the vehicle remains unavailable for use.
The vehicle must be returned to the same pickup location unless prior approval is obtained from the company. Pickup or drop at alternate locations may incur additional charges based on distance, logistics, and driver availability.
All parking tickets, traffic fines, challans, penalties, or violations incurred during the rental period are the sole responsibility of the customer and may be recovered from the security deposit or billed separately.
The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at the time of pickup. Fuel shortages will be charged accordingly. Excess fuel at the time of return will not be refunded.
Security deposit refunds are processed between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM. If a booking ends outside these hours, the refund will be processed on the next working day. The security deposit amount varies depending on the vehicle category and rental type.
The company reserves the right to hold the security deposit for 15 to 30 days in order to account for delayed traffic challan updates from RTO systems. If any challans are identified during this period, the applicable amount shall be deducted and the remaining balance refunded.
The standard kilometre usage limit is 300 kilometres per day. For multi-day bookings, the kilometre limit is cumulative. Any excess kilometres driven beyond the permitted limit shall attract additional charges as per the applicable rate.
FastTag recharge is the responsibility of the customer. The company shall not be liable for FastTag failures, insufficient balance, or toll-related server issues.
Foreign nationals must carry a valid International Driving Licence and any additional documents required under Indian law. Failure to provide valid documents may result in the denial of service without a refund.
If the customer changes the destination or travels outside the originally declared state or route, revised rental charges may apply based on operational and regulatory considerations.
All bookings are non-cancellable and non-refundable, except where explicitly stated otherwise. By proceeding with the booking, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms, policies, and operational protocols of Tringo Car Rental Services.
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between the customer and Tringo Car Rental Services. The company reserves the right to amend these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.
